The Rat Race

I've been at HSBC for a week now, and I like it. I work in a big open plan office, the kind I always thought would be mind numbingly impersonal and run of the mill. But it's much, much better than that. There are a huge range of different people to get to know, lots to learn, and I work with a great bunch of people. I'm still learning and it's going to take a long time, but I'm feeling positive, and pleasantly surprised.
